Experienced Senior Lecturer & Programme Leader. An inclusive educator with expertise across Further and Higher Education in Digital Media, Journalism, and Creative Writing. As an active creative practitioner, I enjoy bridging the gap between research and creative practice.
about me
Naida’s PhD interrogated the suitability of the term 'decolonisation' in screenwriting and storytelling, focusing on the colonial gaze in representations of Black Muslim women. This work underpins her broader academic and creative interests in the politics of representation, intersectionality, and narrative agency.
